Come swim with us! Aquatics covers a range of swimming skills. Special Olympics athletes train and compete in short sprints, distance swimming and relays in a variety of different strokes. Athletes train for 8 to 10 weeks and then compete in a swim meet in the Spring and Winter.
There are three levels to our swimming programs:
Beginner: Must be able to doggie paddle the length of the pool or can only swim 25 yards and needs to improve swimming skills
Intermediate: Can swim 25 yards without assistance and without stopping
