Polar Plunge

Polar Plunge

The Polar Plunge is one of the biggest Special Olympics fundraisers of the year. The Plunge is a truly unique event and includes a fun, festive atmosphere with food and great prizes. The Plunge works just like a Walk-a-Thon, but with one big twist. Participants still solicit donations to support their effort (a BEAR minimum of $75 to take part — $50 minimum for Junior Plungers, ages 6-18), but instead of walking, Polar Bears take a chilly dip into a pool that will be set up in the parking lot at Joe’s Crab Shack.

Ready to sign up?  Here’s how!!

100% of the SOHC Freezecats donations go straight to Special Olympics Hamilton County! In order for Special Olympics Hamilton County to receive the funds you raise, you must register as a member of SOHC Freezecats. So make sure you register with the Freezecats! Every $25 you raise helps provide a season of athletic competition for one Special Olympics athlete.
