Beginning in 2018 by a dedicated student from Harrison High School, Acceptance Week is shining example of promoting inclusion in schools and other spaces. By creating a spirit week themed event, anyone can get involved and show their support for the Fight for Inclusion.
Acceptance Week is centered around the national campaign of Spread the Word Inclusion (formerly known as Spread the Word to End the Word).
At it’s core, Acceptance Week was a chance for students, staff and districts to show their pride for everyone at their school.

2021 Virtual Acceptance Week Timeline
February 8 – 12th: Teaser Week 1 – Aware
February 10th – School/Program/Individual Sign Up Forms Due to SOHC
February 15 – 19th: Teaser Week 2 – Change
February 22 – 26th: Teaser Week 3 – Accept
March 1 – 5: ACCEPTANCE WEEK!
